Tournaments and festivals

Tournaments: the next match, the pitch and the scores on every parent’s phone

Sixteen teams, four pitches, times that slip. You enter the matches and scores; each parent follows their child’s team and gets its next match, with the time and the pitch.

Free for the organising club.

The problem

A sheet taped to the snack bar

At the first delay, the whole schedule slips. The sheet on the snack bar is wrong, the PA is inaudible, and parents crowd round the scorers’ table to find out when their child plays.

Teams miss their match, referees wait, results travel by word of mouth.

With Ohey, the tournament lives on people’s phones. One delay entered at the scorers’ table, and every parent concerned knows.

How it works

In three steps

1

Create the tournament

Teams, groups, pitches and match times, from your phone or a computer.

2

Put up the QR code

At the entrance, at the snack bar, on the team sheets. Each parent picks the team they follow.

3

Enter scores and delays

At the scorers’ table: results appear live, and each team’s next match goes out as a notification.

What you get

Everything you need, nothing more

🏆

Their team’s next match

Each parent only gets what concerns their child’s team.

📺

Screen mode

On a TV at the snack bar, one address to open: the schedule and scores update on their own.

🖨️

A4 poster

The schedule and QR code, printed for the entrance and the pitches.

🌙

Over when it’s over

A tournament is an event: it goes to sleep after the date, no more notifications.

Frequently asked questions

You’re probably wondering…

Do parents need to install anything?

They can install the app, or open the tournament’s web page from the QR code without installing anything. No account is needed.

Who enters the scores?

The scorers’ table volunteers you invite as editors. They sign in with a link sent by e-mail, no password.

Can I follow several teams?

Yes: a parent with two children in the tournament follows both teams.

How much does it cost?

Nothing for a club running its own tournament. Ohey is free and unlimited for a single organisation.
